Abstract

En generator er plassert i et vindturbinhus. Generatorens rotor (6) er montert til girkassens utgang (21), hvorved behovet for koblinger bortfaller. Generatorrammen (3) er plassert direkte på girkassen (27) og er anordnet slik at man kan kontrollere luftgapet (31). For å lette en demontering av generatoren, brukes det koner (33,34), hvilke koner har steile vinkler som overskrider friksjonskoeffisienten til de materialene som brukes. For oppnåelse av adekvat bæring over lengden brukes det i forbindelse med akselen (22) to koner (33,34). Den korte og nøyaktige plasserte koniske overflaten til hver av disse konene vil gi nøyaktig lokalisering av akselens (22) nære og fjerne ende. Lengden til den rette akselen (22) mellom de to lokaliseringskonene (33,44), tjener til bæring av generatoren under montering og demontering. Under en installering vil konene (33,34) sentrere rotoren mens patronlignende tapper (35) vil sentrere rammen (3) (stator 4). Når systemet innretter rotoren (6) og statoren (4), virker holdeelementer (2,16) som labyrinttetninger utformet for å beskytte generatorens indre mot kontaminering.
