Abstract

En fremgangsmåte og anordning for å bestemme den lineære respons av en elektrisk flerports komponent (1) har en "estimeringsprosedyre" hvor en estimert admittansmatrise bestemmes ved å påføre spenninger til portene av komponenten og måle responsen fra komponenten. Estimeringsprosedyren kan for eksempel bestå av en konvensjonell måling av admittansmatrisen. Fremgangsmåten har videre en "måleprosedyre" hvor flere spenningsmønstre påføres porten. Spenningsmønstrene korresponderer til egenvektorene av den estimerte admittansmatrise. For hvert påført spenningsmønster blir responsen fra komponenten målt. Dette tillater nøyaktig måling av den lineære respons av komponenten selv om egenverdiene av admittansmatrisen avviker med flere størrelsesordener.
