Oppfinnelsen angår en varmeinstallasjon omfattende: en første krets (Kl) som omfatter et første medium, en andre krets (K2) som omfatter et andre medium, en første varmepumpe (2) anordnet i den første krets (Kl) for å varme det første medium, en tredje krets (K3) som omfatter et tredje medium, en varmeveksler (40) som er anordnet i den tredje krets (K3) og som er forbundet mellom kondensatoren (2d) og ekspansjonsventilen (2f) av den første varmepumpe for å overføre varme fra arbeidsmediet fra det den første varmepumpe til det tredje medium i den tredje krets (K3) og en andre varmepumpe (3) anordnet for å varme det andre medium i den andre krets (K2) ved å absorbere varmeenergi fra det tredje medium i den tredje krets (K3).
