Abstract
En rotordynamisk fluidmaskin omfattende en motor innrettet for direkte drift av en aksling, et trykksatt motorhus med endevegger gjennom hvilke akslingen passerer via tørre gasstetninger for å innelukke motoren, midler for å holde et trykk i motorhuset, hvilket trykk er forskjellig fra trykket utenfor motorhuset. Et første skovlhjul som er direkte forbundet med én ende av den motordrevne aksling, innrettet til å bevege prosessfluid i en første retning i forhold til akslingens akse fra en inngang til en utgang. Et andre skovlhjul som er direkte forbundet med en motsatte ende av akslingen, innrettet til å bevege prosessfluid i en motsatt retning i forhold til en første retning i forhold til akslingens akse fra en andre inngang til en andre utgang, slik at det dannes innsuging ved begge ender av akslingen, og en prosessfluidledning som forbinder den første utgang med den andre inngang.
