Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for kondensering av en hydrokarbonrik strøm, spesielt en jordgasstrøm, hvor kondenseringen av den hydrokarbonrike strømmen foregår mot en kuldemiddelblandingskretsløpskaskade som består av to kuldemiddelblandingskretsløp, hvor det første kuldemiddelblandingskretsløpet tjener til forkjølingen (EI) og det andre kuldemiddelblandingskretsløpet til kondenseringen og underkjølingen (E2) av den hydrokarbonrike strømmen som skal kondenseres (a), og hvor hvert kuldemiddelblandingskretsløp i det minste har en ett- eller flertrinns fortetter (VI, V2) drevet av minst en gassturbin (GI, G2), hvor gassturbinene er tilpasset startere som under den normale driften blir anvendt til understøttelse av gassturbinene. Ifølge oppfinnelsen har det andre kuldemiddelblandingskretsløpet en kaldtinnsugende fortetter (V2) med et trykkforhold på minst 10, og det første kuldemiddelblandingskretsløpet blir i det minste delvis trukket inn for mellomkjølingen (EI) av i det minste en delstrøm av den delfortettede kuldemiddelblandingsstrømmen (36, 39) i det andre kuldemiddelblandingskretsløpet.
