Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for å konstruere en halvt nedsenkbar rigg i et skipsverft og fullstendig sammensette riggen på skipsverftet. Et overskrog (1) av riggen konstrueres på land inntil en tørrdokk, hvor underskroget (2) konstrueres i dokken hvor sammenpasning foregår. Overskroget bringes så til å gli til en posisjon over underskroget. Underskroget fløtes og løftes ved å fylle tørrdokken med vann og posisjonen av underskroget reguleres ved bruk av ballasttanker i underskroget. Så snart overskroget og underskroget er brakt til å møte hverandre og innrettes på linje blir de permanent sveiset sammen og fullføres således riggsammenstillingen i tørrdokken
