Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte og en anordning for behandling av gasser hvilken anordning omfatter en vertikal kolonne (1) med en innløpsåpning (2) for gass i sin nedre del (5) og en gassutløpsåpning (3) i sin øvre del (4). Karbonpartikler tilsettes til kolonnen (1) via et vertikalt tilførselsrør (7). Tilførselsrøret (7) er bevegbart for å justere høyden av sengen (8) av partikkelformet materiale i kolonnen (1) for å holde oppholdstiden av avgassen i sengen (8) konstant. Ved å holde en konstant oppholdstid av avgassen i sengen (8) oppnås fullstendig omvandling av avgassen.
