Abstract
Det beskrives en anordning og en fremgangsmåte innen et kommunikasjonssystem, hvor minst deler av overføringen blir utført gjennom radiobølger og i celler, og hvor symboler blir overført ved hjelp av Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,. såkalt OFDM-teknologi, mellom en senderenhet og en mottakerenhet, hvorved symboloverføringen , blir utført over en overføringskanal i blokker med binære tall med et verneintervall GI mellom blokkene, hvor senderenheten er utstyrt med midler for å styre lengden på verneintervallet (GI) med hensyn til de fysiske forholdene forbi overføringskanalen, slik at verneintervallet kan reduseres uten at forstyrrelsesmottakeligheten øker, med i stedet øke. kapasiteten/gjennomstrømningen for overføringskanalen ved tiden som frigjøres og gjøres tilgjengelig blir anvendt til å overføre informasjon. En utførelse av oppfinnelsen omfatter en verneintervallsjusteringsenhet som er tilkoblet annet OFDM-utstyr i sender- og eller mottakerenhet.
