I tillegg tillater suspensjonen av fordelaktig middel som tildannes ved bruk av suspensjonsvehiklet ifølge oppfinnelsen, en konttollert avlevering av fordelaktig middel fra en implantert avleveringsiimretning over utsfrakte tidsrom, også der avleveringen skjer ved lave strømningshastigheter, gjennom avleveringskanaler med liten diameter. Det beskrives videre implanterbare avleveringsinnretninger.
