Katalysator for anvendelse i en Fischer-Tropsch syntesereaksjon hvor det benyttes kobolt båret på aluminiumoksid, og hvor katalysatorens midlere partikkelstørre er i området 20-100 ^m, det spesiflkke overflateareal av de impregnerte og kalsinerte katalysatorpartikler er større erm 80 mVg, den midlere porestørrelse av den impregnerte og kalsinerte katalysator er minst 90Å (9 rmi), og den impregnerte og kalsinerte katalysators porevolum er større erm 0,35 cm^/g.
