Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte og utstyr for å hindre forplantingen av et kraftig skred som går med høy hastighet. Fremgangsmåten går ut på å fange skredet i en spesiell beskyttelsesinnretning (1) som er plassert i en avlang lagringsboks (16) på en fjellskråning, i en kløft, ved foten av en fjellskråning eller ellers hvor det foreligger fare for skred. Innretningen absorberer skredenergien og vil omdanne noe av energien til varme. Varmen tilveiebringes som følge av friksjon når skredet får kontakt med innretningen og blir dissipert, delvis ved at snøkrystaller smelter når de presses gjennom utstyret og delvis ved at varme overføres til det omgivende området via hovedstrenger (3, 11) og spesielle grunninnfestninger (2), når skredet stoppes. Denne fremgangsmåten muliggjør også en plassering av flere beskyttelsesenheter i overlappende rader for derved å danne en kontinuerlig beskyttende vegg mot et potensielt skred. Beskyttelsesinnretningen (1) består i hovedsaken av en halvsirkulær nettsekk (9) med masker og åpning, et topprep (13), et fotrep (10), ledestrenger (12, 14, 15) og vingeenheter (7) som er festet til topprepet (13) og nettsekken (9), hovedstrenger (3, 11) som er festet til grunnankeret (2) i den ene enden og i den andre enden er festet til ledestrenger (12), fotrepet (10) og nettsekkens (9) topprep (13), flate plater (8) som er festet til hovedstrengene (3), en lagringsplattform (5) som står på pæler (4) som er forsynt med låsbare hengsler (6), og en beskyttende hjelm (17).
