Abstract
I gasstrømmen mellom to kompressorer (1, 2) eller mellom to grupper av kompressortrinn er det for komprimering av en gass anordnet en mellomkjøler (3) forsynt med varmevekslerflate (6), og bak den andre kompressor (2) er det anordnet en etterkjøler (5) forsynt med varmevekslerflater (7). For utnyttelse av spillvarmen som dannes i kjølerne (3, 5) er mellomkjølerens (3) og etterkjølerens (5) varmevekslerflate (6, 7) innbefattet i en dampgenerator (9) på den måten at varmevekslerflatene er forbundet med dampgeneratorens (9) fødevannspumpe (40, 59).
