Abstract
Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer et nukleinsyremolekyl omfattende:. (a) en nukleotidsekvens som vist i SEKV ID nr.35; eller. (b) en nukleotidsekvens som er komplementet til SEKV ID nr. 35; eller (c) en nukleotidsekvens som er degenerert med SEKV ID nr. 35; eller (d) en nukleotidsekvens som under betingelser med høy stringens hybridiserer til SEKV ID nr. 35, til komplementet til SEKV ID nr. 35 eller til en hybridiserings-probe som stammer fra SEKV ID nr. 35 eller komplementet til denne; eller (e) en nukleotidsekvens som har minst 80% sekvensidentitet med SEKV ID nr. 35; eller (f) en nukleotidsekvens som har minst 65% sekvensidentitet med SEKV ID nr. 35, hvornevnte sekvens fortrinnsvis koder for, eller er komplementær til en sekvens som koder for, et nystatin-PKS-enzym eller en del derav.Det er også tilveiebrakt en del av slike molekyler og polypeptider (og deler derav) kodet for av et slikt nukleinsyremolekyl, samt anvendelse av slike molekyler og polypeptider til å gjøre nystatin-biosyntesen lettere og til syntetisering av nystatin-derivater, samt nytt polyketid som makrolidstrukturer.
