Abstract
En katalysator og en forbedret prosess for fremstilling av olefiner ved katalytisk krakking av nafta er beskrevet. Prosessen frembringer relativt større utbytter over et kom-mersielt viktig område av naftaomdanning,mens det gir om-trent det samme eller lavere utbytter av aromater og metan over dette området. I prosessen blir et hydrokarbon nafta råstoff omfattende et hydrokarbon med fra ca tre til ca tyve karbonatomer pr. molekyl sendt inn i en reaktor som inneholder en pentasil zeolittkatalysator. Katalysatoren omfatter fra ca 0,1 til ca 10 vekt% fosfor og ca 0,1 til 10 vekt% av et promotormetall valgt fra gruppen som består av gallium, germanium eller tinn og blandinger av disse.yd-rokarbonet kan sendes inn i reaktoren sammen med et for-tynningsmiddel valgt fra gruppen som består av damp, nitro-gen, metan, og etan og blandinger av disse. Alternativt kan hydrokarbonet sendes inn i reaktoren sammen med ekstra pro-pan.
