Oppfinnelsen angeren fremgangsmåte for forbedring av radioforbindelses- kvalitet (170) i et celledelt radionettverk, samt et celledelt radionettverk. Det celle- delte radionettverket omfatter et basestasjonsystem (126) og abonnentterminaler (150). Mellom basestasjonsystemet (126) og abonnentterminalen (150) er det en toveis radioforbindelse (170) som benytter en retningsstyrt antennelobe (304, 306). l fremgangsmåten dannes det i basestasjonsystemet (126) en ankomstret- ning (302A) for antenneloben (304A) dirigert på grunnlag av et radiosignal (304A) som mottas i opplink-retning og utsendes av abonnentterminalen (150). Basesta- sjonsystemet (126) sender et radiosignal (306) i nedlink-retning til abonnenttermi- nalen (150), i den senderetning (308) som dannes på grunnlag av ankomstretnin- gen (302A). Ved dannelsen av senderetningen (308) utnyttes et på forhånd kjent antall L tidligere dannede ankomstretninger (402, 302C, 302B, 302A). Når sen- deretningen (308) dannes, vektlegges hver tidligere dannet ankomstretning (402, 302C, 302B, 302A), i samsvar med oppfinnelsen, i omvendt forhold til ankomst- retningens (402, 302C, 302B, 302A) tidsavstand fra et kjent referanse-tidspunkt (302A).
