Abstract

Omruting mellom to kommunikasjonsnett med basestasjoner (4), reléstasjoner (8) og mobile radiostasjoner (6), blant annet for CDMA eller annen teknologi og ved forskjellig frekvens. En første basesta-sjon (4) dekker to eller flere sektorer, og en av disse er tilordnet en reléstasjon (8) som gir dekningsoverlapping for begge nett. Når en forflyttbar stasjon (6) kommer inn i dekningsområdet for reléstasjonen (8) identifiseres dennes pilotsignal, dets feltstyrke måles og resultatet sendes til det første nett. Er signalstyrken over en gitt tilføyelsesterskel føyes reléstasjonen (8) til en liste over aktive stasjoner hos den forflyttbare stasjon.Det første nett kan sørge for omruting av kommunikasjonen til/fra denne stasjon (6) til det andre nett, på blant annet fem måter: 1) ved å la basestasjonen (4) i det første nett sette i gang omrutingen, 2) dersom reléstasjonens (8) pilotsignalstyrke, målt i stasjonen (6), overstiger en gitt omrutingsterskel, 3) dersom basestasjonen (4) i det første nett tas ut fra settet aktive stasjoner hos stasjonen (6), 4) dersom reléstasjonen (8) i det første nett tas ut fra samme sett med aktive stasjoner, eller 5) dersom basestasjonen (4) og reléstasjonen (8) i det første nett begge tas ut fra dette sett.
