Description

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en .lukkeflens støpt av syntetisk plastmateriale og beregnet for termoplastisk binding til en åpning i en plastbeholders vegg, som nærmere angitt i innledningen til det etterfølgende hovedkrav.
Ettersom produksjon og bruk av plastkan.ner og tønner eller fat øker, legges.det mer og mer vekt på frem-bringelse av hensiktsmessige lukker for slike beholdere. Til tross for at det er frembragt utallige lukke.konstruks joner for å møte etterspørselen, foreligger det.fortsatt svakheter som må rettes for å perfeksjonere slike arrangementer.
F.eks. er tetningseffektiviteten til lukkeinn-retninger som blir mekanisk krympet på en beholder, avhengig av kvaliteten til den oppragende hals i en beholderveggåpning. Gjentatte flatebrudd, avhengig av støpeprosessen, innfører muligheter for lekkasjebaner. Gjengede lukkekonstruksjoner av den type som blir presset inn i en plastbeholders veggåpning med presspasning, viser sea å ha en marginal tetningsvirkning, spesielt ved de større størrelser, hvor lukkets stivhet og brytningsmotstand blir hovedfaktorer. En annen løsning som har vært forsøkt med begrenset suksess, er støping av en standard rørgjenge direkte i en integralt formet åpningshals. Dette arrangement krever imidlertid en nøyaktighetsgrad i gjengedannelsen som for tiden ikke forefinnes ved støping av plastkanneT og tromler eller fat som nyttes på det industrielle beholderfelt.
I tillegg til de ovennevnte arrangementer forefinnes det et antall plastforbindelsesteknikker som med fordel ut-peker seg selv i forbindelse med fabrikasjon av plastbeholdere. Disse teknikker omfatter, men er ikke på noen måte begrenset til, induksjonssveising, ultrasonisk sveising og rotasjons-sveising, hvilke alle kan nyttes for å tilveiebringe en hoved-sakelig homogen forbindelse ved mellomflaten mellom en lukkeflens og en omgivende beholderveggseksjon. Disse forbindelses-teknikker har opp til i dag imidlertid vært brukt i meget begrenset utstrekning på området for industrielle plastbeholdere og det er mot denne spesielle lukkekonstruksjons-idé den foreliggende oppfinnelse er rettet.
Det er kjent lukkeflenser, hvor det anvendes en ring av ledende materiale, som oppvarmes i et induksjonsfelt for fastsveising av flensen til en beholdervegg. Ved denne lukkeflens bestemmer den ledende ring før sammensveisingen, avstanden mellom de to deler, som skal sammensveises. Så
snart den ledende ring smelter, minskes avstanden mellom de to deler, og det smeltede materiale flyter fortrinnsvis skrått ned til den ene side, før de flater som skal sammensveises, kanskje har oppnådd den nødvendige temperatur. Det kan derfor være vanskelig å oppnå en fast sammensveising over et veldefinert område.
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse søker å tilveiebringe en forbedring i dette henseende, og dette er ifølge oppfinnelsen oppnådd ved at den elektriske leder er opptatt i et aksielt åpent, ringformet spor, som er formet i over- eller undersiden av den ringformede krave i radiell avstand fra halsen, og at det radielt utenfor lederelementet er utforme<*>t et ringformet fremspring, som strekker seg aksielt ut fra sporet.
Ved at den elektriske leder er anbragt i det ringformede spor, kan den smelte uten å flyte ut til siden, og først når det ringformede fremspring som strekker seg ut fra sporet, smelter, forminskes avstanden mellom de to deler som skal sammensveises, og man er derved sikker på at disse deler har oppnådd den nødvendige temperatur innen den smeltede elektriske leder brer seg ut til siden. Inntil da virker fremspringet som en sperring mot at den smeltede leder flyter utad.
Det oppnås på denne måte en særdeles homogen og veldefinert flateforbindelse mellom lukkeflensen og beholderveggen.
I en foretrukket utførelsesform for lukkeflensen ifølge oppfinnelsen, er et ringformet spor formet både i over-siden og undersiden av kraven. Herved oppnås at lukket er like anvendelig enten det skal fastsveises til beholderveggens ytter-eller innerside.
En annen fordelaktig utførelsesform for lukkeflensen er karakterisert ved et ringformet hulrom utformet inne i flenshalsen mellom halsgjengen og den elektriske leder. Ved denne foranstaltning beskyttes gjengepartiet mot overføring av varme fra sveiseoperasjonen.
Oppfinnelsen skal i det følgende bli nærmere for-klart med henvisning til tegningen, som viser en utførelsesform av lukkeflensen ifølge oppfinnelsen, idet

fig. 5 viser et snitt av innretningen eller sammenstillingen ifølge fig. 3 etter at forbindelsesprosessen er gjennomført.
Av fig. 1 og 2 sees at lukkeflensen 1, støpt av syntetisk plastmateriale består av en oppragende sylindrisk hals 2 med et innvendig gjengeparti 3- Den øvre ende av flenshalsen har et kort, ikke-gjenget parti H og ender i en peri-ferien utvidet vulst 5'- Den ytre flate av flenshalsen 3 fort-setter med en undersporet flate 6 under vulsten 5 forbundet med en kort seksjon 7 med redusert diameter. Nedenfor seksjonen 7 er flenshalsen igjen periferielt fortykket til et øvre styreparti som vist ved 8 og omgitt av en sideveis utragende ringformet krave 9 som har en oppadvendt flate 10 og en nedadvendt flate 11.
Som det også framgår av fig. 3 og 4 er den øvre kraveflate 10 forsynt med et oppadvendt ringformet spor 12 i radiell avstand utad fra halsen 2. En elektrisk leder 13 tildannet av metallpartikler innleiret i et termoplastisk materiale, er anbragt inne i sporet 12. Por et formål som skal bli beskrevet i det etterfølgende, er den radielt indre vegg av sporet 12 gradvis bøyd ved 14 ved sin forbindelse med kravens toppflate 10. Den radielt ytre vegg av sporet 12 strekker seg opp over flaten 10 slik at den mer sikkert fast-holder lederen 13 i sporet 12 og ender i et skarpt, ringformet framspring 15- Kravens 9 undre flate er tilsvarende forsynt med et nedadvendt spor 16 med den indre vegg av sporet gradvis bøyd ved 17 ved sin forbindelse med kravens bunnflate 11 og den, ytre vegg av sporet strekker seg nedenfor flaten 11 i et skarpt, ringformet framspring 18. Den nedre ende av flenshalsen 2 ender i et ikke-gjenget, nedre styreparti som strekker seg ned forbi kravens undre flate.11. Et ringformet hulrom 20 er anordnet inne i flenshalsen og strekker seg fra kravens undre flate 11-til et punkt godt over den øvre flate 10.
Ved feste av flensen 1 til en beholderveggseksjon 21 forsynt med en åpning 22, kan det sees ved sammenligning av fig. 3 og 4, at flensen kan festes like lett til enten den indre eller ytre flate av beholderveggen. F.eks. ved store fat blåsestøpt i et stykke, kreves at lukkeflensen blir påsatt den ytre flate mens ved kanner sprøytestøpt i to deler, kan det kreves at flaskehalsen strekker seg opp gjennom åpningen i kannetoppen for å oppnå den nødvendige lave profil for stabling. Fig. 3 viser forholdet mellom delene før sammenbindingen når flensen skal festes til den undre flate i kannetoppen. Det sees her at det utvidede halspartiet 8 tjener som en føring for sentrering av flenshalsen 2 i beholderveggens åpning 22 slik at beholderveggens 21 undre flate hviler mot kraveframspringet 15 og også ligger an mot den øvre flate av lederen 13- Under ut-øvelse av et nedad rettet trykk og innføring av sammenstillingen i et magnetisk felt, er flensen 1 klar til å bli induksjonssveiset til beholderveggen 21. Idet induksjonssveise-prosessen tar til, begynner det termoplastiske bindemiddel i lederelementet 13 å smelte sammen med veggene i sporet 12. Framspringet 15 begynner også å smelte og bevirker at kravens 9 øvre flate 10 beveges mot beholderveggens undre flate. Mens denne bevegelse finner sted tjener imidlertid framspringet 15 som en demning mot utadrettet strømning av det termoplastiske bindemiddel mens den buede overgang 14 understøtter den radielt innadrettede strømning av det termoplastiske bindemiddel.
Dette resulterer i, som vist i fig. 5, at kraven og beholderveggen blir integralt forbundet med hjelp av en homogen forbindelse av de hosliggende flens- og beholderveggflater. Som en ytterligere forholdsregel under forbindelsesperioden, for-hindrer det ringformede hulrom 20 overføring av en mulig hete-konsentrasjon direkte mot det gjengede parti 3, hvilket kunne bevirke en uønsket deformasjon eller vridning i et område. Av fig. 4 framgår at den ovenfor beskrevne forbindelsesprosess alternativt kan utføres ved å sammenføye kravens undre flate 11 med beholderveggens 21 øvre flate. I dette tilfelle sikrer styrepartiet 19 en riktig og lett sentrering av kraven 9 om beholderveggen 22.' Som ved arrangementet i figur 3> bevirker framspringet 18 sammen med den buede overgangen 17, en liten radiell innadrettet strømning av det termoplastiske bindemiddel i lederelementet 13. Resultatet er atter en homogen termoplastisk forbindelse av flensen med beholderveggens ytre flate slik det er nødvendig ved blåsestøpte beholdere.
I fig. 5 sees lukkesammenstillingen komplettert
med en lukkeplugg 23 skrudd inn i flenshalsen 2 og som har et sirkulært utvidet hode 24 med et selvtettende parti 25 i tettende anlegg mot flensvulsten 5- En klussesikker kapselfor-segling 26 blir deretter satt over flensen og pluggen, hvilken omfatter en topp-panel 27, et nedhengende skjørt 28 og en ringformet tetningspakning 29- Forseglingsskjørtet 28 blir krympet
tett mot den underskårne flate 6 på halsvulsten for å sammen-trykke tetningspaknihgen 29 tett mot vulsten 5 og plugghodet 24.

Claims (2)

1. Lukkeflens støpt av syntetisk plastmateriale og beregnet for termoplastisk binding til en åpning i en plastbeholders vegg, med en oppragende sylindrisk hals (2) med innvendig gjenge (3), styremidler (8,19) tildannet på halsen (2) for sentrering av flensen (1) i en beholderåpning (22), en sideveis utragende krave (9) som omgir halsen (2) med øvre og undre flater (10,11), karakterisert ved et i aksiell retning åpent spor (12) tildannet i en av kravens (9) flater (10,11) og i radiell avstand utad fra halsen (2), et elektrisk ledende element (13), omfattende et termoplastisk bindemiddel med metallpartikler, anordnet i sporet (12) for å lette termoplastisk binding av kraven (9) til en seksjon av plastbehoiderveggen (21) som omgir åpningen (22), et ringformet framspring (15,18) anordnet ved sporets (12) ytre peri-feri og som strekker seg ut fra kraveflatene (10,11).
2. Lukkeflens ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at sporet (12) er tildannet både i kravens øvre og nedre flate (10,11), og at termoplastisk binding av kraven (9) finner sted enten ved plastbeholderveggens (21) indre eller ytre flate.
3- Lukkeflens ifølge krav 1 eller 2, karakterisert ved et ringformet hulrom (20) utformet inne i flenshalsen (2) mellom halsgjengen (3) og det elektrisk ledende element (13).
