Description

Anordning for kjøling av materialer, f. eks. matvarer som lett kan bederves.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en
anordning for kjøling av slike materialer som matvarer for lagring og forsendelse, og angår særlig kjølingen av slike materialer ned til temperaturer som er vesentlig under 0° C.
Det er kjent å føre de varer som skal
fryses gjennom en frysevæske, f. eks. nitrogen, innelukket i en beholder og for-syne innløps- og utløpsportene med roterende trommel som tjener som .gasslås ved innføring og utføring av f. eks. matvarer.
I de kjente anordninger føres pakker
en etter en, eller kanskje flere samtidig, inn i en roterende trommel eller port som tjener som lukker og som en pumpe. Ettersom trommelen roterer har den en tendens til å tvinge luft inn i kjølekammeret, og har videre en tendens til å suge ut gass, slik at kjølegassen fortynnes. Dette er uheldig fordi det fører varm luft inn i kammeret og vil dermed varme opp dette, idet luft 'bringes inn 1 kammeret hvilket fortynner .gassen og medfører ocfsydasjon av utsatte matvarer, og denne mnførelse av luft i kammeret innvirker også på en flytendegjørelse av gassen som tas ut av kammeret, hvilken skal føres inn i kammeret igjen i flytende form.
Hensikten med foreliggende oppfinnelse er å skaffe en anordning som fjerner disse vanskeligheter, og dette oppnås
ifølge oppfinnelsen ved å suge luft ut av hver lomme ettersom den kommer inn i kammeret og suge gass ut av hver lomme og returnere denne til kammeret ettersom lommene forlater dette.

Det ugjennomtrengelige lokk 3 fortrlnsvis av metall som ikke ødelegges eller blir svakt i kulde, lukker karet 1 og er forsynt med isolering 4 og har en gassutløpsgassasj e 5. Et generelt likt sylindrisk uttømnings-låsehus 29, som er åpent for omgivende luft over en del av sin periferi inneholder låssylinder som antydet lagret på akselen 30. Liten eller ingen luft kan således komme inn i ibadkammeret og lite eller ingen gassformet nitrogen kan unnslippe herfra unntagen gjennom ut-tømningskanalen 5.
Et bøyelig transportbelte 37 har tenner 38 i en avstand som svarer til avstan-den mellom tilstøtende tenner i sylindrene, idet disse tenner er anbragt i en slik avstand at de opptar en matvarepak-ning mellom tilstøtende tenner. Beltet 37 passerer omkring en drivvalse 39 nær mat-ningslåsen og en valse 40 nær uttømnangs-låsen. Valsen 41, 42 er forbundet med driv-remmene 39 og 40 og fører toeltet ut fra sin tangensbane med hensyn til de to valser slik som antydet. Drivtoeltet 43 går rundt tannhj ulene 44, 45 og er f orsynt med åpninger således at tennene 38 stikker ut gjennom belter på oversiden og tillater beltet 43 å falle ned på undersiden slik som angitt. Drivanordninger for tannhjulene driver det i overensstemmelse med akslene 12 og 30 således at rommene mellom hvert par tenner på beltet 37 registrerer med riller på låsesylinderen og etter som beltet 37 nærmer seg eller avviker fra tangens-linjen med hensyn på sylindrene 10 og 29, tillates pakkene å gå inn i eller kjemmes ut av registrering med beltet således at det hindres kollisjon med tennene 38 med innløp eller utløp av pakkene fra badet.
En føringsbue 46 strekker seg omkring utløpsenden for beltet for å skaffe en fø-ring som leder de suksessive pakninger i registrering med uttømningssylinderen. Beltene henger på det øvre område mellom valsen 41 og 42 og på idet nedre område mellom tannhjulene 44 og 45 således at etter som beltet toeveger seg vil de en-kelte pakninger gå inn i badkammeret, neddyppes under nivået for væsken og endelig uttømmes idet de tillates å opp-holde seg i badet i tilstrekkelig tidslengde til at de kan bringes ned til den ønskede temperatur, idet senkningen av tempera-turen skyldes strømmen av varme fra pakningen til væsken, slik at den latente varme avgis av pakningen for å koke en tilstrekkelig væskemengde for å oppnå at pakningen får den ønskede lave temperatur.
Drivhjul 39 og valser 41 og 42 løper fritt. Beltene 37 og 43 som griper i hverandre medfører at drivkraften gjennom tannhj ulsakselen 40 overføres til å komme i kontakt med bevegelsen f or det med tenner forsynte 'belte 38 med sylindrene. Akslene 12, 30 og 40 er forbundet ved hjelp av en hvilken som helst egnet anordning f. eks. belter som antydet således at det vil drives sammen.
Gassuttømningsrøret 5 på fig. 2 fører til et apparat 50 for gjentatt flytendegjø-relse, hvilket er vist skjematisk da detal-jene far flytendegjøreljsen ikke danner noen del av foreliggende oppfinnelse. En kanal 51 leder væsken til et lagringspunkt 52 og kanalen 6, som kontrolleres av en hvilken som helst egnet automatisk kon-trollanordning 53, vil kontrollere hastigheten for innstrømmende væske i overensstemmelse med fordampningshastighe-ten for væsken og uttømmingen gjennom kanalen 5 for å holde badnivået konstant. Hastigheten for fordampningen vil natur-ligvis avhenge av den innførte varme-mengde. Varme som kommer inn gjennom isoleringen vil normalt være konstant men varme som bringes inn med gjenstander som istoal avkjøles, vil variere med bad-ningshastigheten og alt som er nødvendig er å kontrollere at innstrømmende hastig-het for væske bringes 1 balanse med hastigheten for uttømningsgass. Under disse omstendigheter vil trykk i hådet alltid holdes ved atmosfæretrykk eller kanskje nettopp litt over dette som et minimum da eller omgivende luft kunne strømme inn. Trykket kan være vesentlig over atmos-færisk hvis dette er ønskelig fordi gass-
låsene for matning og uttømning gjør dette mulig uten særlig tap av nitrogen.

Claims (1)

  1. Anordning for kjøling av materialer, f. eks. matvarer som lett kan bederves, be-stående av et lukket gasskammer som har inntak og utløpsporter i en avstand fra hverandre for innføring av fast materiale som skal behandles i kammeret, idet hver port er lukket av en gasslås omfattende en roterbar gasslåssyllnder egnet til å hindre gassbevegelse gjennom porten og som har lommer som er bevegelige mot og fra kammeret egnet til å motta og transportere faste stoffer gjennom porten, karakterisert ved sugeanordninger (16, 19) i banen egnet til å kommunisere med lommene for hver gasslåssylinder ettersom de beveger seg mot kammeret, sugeanordninger (32, 34) i banen egnet til å kommunisere med lommene for hver pakning ettersom de beveger seg hort fra kammeret, idet de nevnte sugeanordninger (16, 19, 32, 34) er egnet til å fortynne gass-innholdet for hvér suksessive lomme ettersom det beveger seg både mot og fra kammeret.
