Description
Innen sykepleien har man i lengere tid søkt etter en
lett håndterbar pakningsform for langtidsoppbevaring av blod. En slik pakning bør kunne forsegles på en enkel måte og tross dette bestå av et materiale som dels er vev-venlig, dvs. i det vesent-ligste ikke påvirker blodet, og dels motstår store temperaturvaria-sjoner, som oppstår når pakningen i dypfrysingsøyemed utsettes for en rask nedkjøling til ca. -200°C. For at såvel nedkjølingen som opptiningen av innholdet skal skje raskt, bør pakningsmaterialet ha så liten tykkelse som mulig, men allikevel være så sterkt at materialet tåler en i og for seg uforsiktig håndtering, f.eks. under feltmessige forhold.
Det har nå overraskende vist seg at man kan fremstille pakninger som oppfyller alle de ovennevnte krav, ved anvendelse av Kfr. kl. 30g-6/02, A 61 j 1/00 et laminat som har en tykkelse av 0,05 - 0,5 mm, og som består av et varmforseglbart sjikt av en tetrafluoretylen/heksafluorpropylen-kopolymer og et polyimid-sjikt, idet det varmforseglbare sjikt vender mot pakningens innside;
Laminater av den her angitte type er kjent fra den neder-landske patentsøknad nr. 66 09025, som tilsvarer SW-PS 339 561. Denne publikasjon anviser en løsning på det problem å tilveiebringe varmforsegling mellom to polyimidfilmer, og den foran nevnte fluor-holdige kopolymer angis å være det riktige materiale for formålet, idet det lar polyimidfilmenes gode varmebestandighet komme til sin rett.
US-PS 3 298 597 omhandler varmforseglede pakninger for injiserbare væsker. Disse pakninger ligner pakningene ifølge den foreliggende oppfinnelse. Det angis at "polyhalohydrocarbon resins" er farmakologisk inerte (indifferente). Imidlertid består det her foretrukne laminat av PVC som ytre lag og poly(klortrifluoretylen) som innvendig lag. Polyiminer nevnes ikke. En annen forskjell består i at man her foretar forseglingen på en slik måte at det indre lag fortrenges fra smeltesonen.Patentskriftet åpenbarer således intet materiale som både er farmakologisk indifferent, og som kan tjene som varmforseglingssjikt.
Ved anvendelse av et laminat av polyimid og tetrafluor-etylen/heksafluorpropylen-kopolymer har man oppnådd den vesentlige fordel at pakningens indre begrensningsflater utgjøres av et for-seglbart materiale, som ikke påvirker blodet. Pakningens beskyt-tende ytterside dannes av --det betydelig sterkere polyimidsjikt.
Det foreslåtte laminat kan uten ulemper utsettes for temperaturer mellom -200°C og +200°C, hvilket betyr at laminatet egner seg såvel for en rask dypfrysing med f.eks. flytende nitrogen, som for sterilisering ved f.eks. 180°C.
En pakning for oppbevaring av blod fremstilles mest hen-siktsmessig som en helt lukket, poseformet beholder som har for-seglede innløps- og utløpsåpninger for tilslutning til katetere og lignende. Beholdere fremstilt på denne måte underkastes en sterilisering ved 180°C, og kan deretter anvendes på blodgiver-sentraler. Herunder forsynes beholderen med hensiktsmessige sterile ledninger, og fylles, hvoretter den forsegles og oppbevares (f.eksc dypfryses). Deretter kan beholderen ved behov etter en opptining, som foregår meget raskt, etter anbringelsen av hensiktsmessige sterile ledninger, direkte anvendes for blodtransfu-
sjoner eller lignende.
Den ifølge oppfinnelsen foreslåtte pakning kan således anvendes for hele prosessen fra dypfrysingen, via lagring og opptining frem til blodtransfusjonen. Ved at pakningen er fremstilt av et sterkt materiale, muliggjøres også eventuelle ytterligere behandlingstrinn av den pakkede vare, som f.eks. vasking og sentri-fugering.
Videre kan man ved hjelp av en plastlomme utenpå beholderen anbringe etiketter for identifisering av innholdet.Pakningen kan dessuten forsynes med ved sveising formede, separate rom for oppbevaring av mindre blodmengder, som kan klippes av fra pakningen for anvendelse f.eks. ved laboratorieundersøkelser før blodtransfusjonen» Også disse rom kan forsynes med etiketter„
Claims (1)
- Pakning for dypfryst blod, hvilken pakning tåler å utsettes for temperaturer mellom -200 og +200°C,karakterisert vedat den er fremstilt av et i og for seg kjent laminat med en tykkelse på 0,05 - 0,5 mm, som består av et varmforseglbart sjikt av en tetrafluoretylen/heksafluorpro-pylen-kopolymer og et polyimid-sjikt, idet det varmforseglbare sjikt vender mot pakningens innside 0
