Description

Drikkepose. Drinking bag.

The invention relates to a bag of waterproof foil such as plastic, for storing liquids, such as beverages. The bag according to the invention comprises a filling and emptying channel in the form of a flat tube made of two foils welded together along the longitudinal edges, which channel projects freely into the interior of the bag. The bag can thus be filled with liquid, e.g. soft drinks, through the aforementioned channel. When it is filled, the liquid pressure will automatically close the channel by pressing it together, but when introducing a pipe, e.g. in the form of a drinking straw, it can be emptied.

The invention also aims to provide a sterile storage option for such a drinking straw in the immediate connection with the drinking bag itself.

For a better understanding of the invention, this is shown in the attached drawing, where an exemplary embodiment illustrates the invention.

Fig. 1 viser posen sett fra siden, Fig. 1 shows the bag seen from the side,

fig. 1. fig. 2 shows the bag after a section II—II in fig. 1.

1. Fig. 3 shows a cross-section along the line III—III in fig. 1.

The bag 1 is made from a plastic tube which is closed at the cross seams 2 and 3 respectively above and below, so that a waterproof bag is produced. In the upper welding seam 2, a plastic piece 5 projecting into the inner part of the bag is also included, to whose middle part another plastic piece 6 is welded by means of edge seams 8. Between the plastic pieces 5 and 6, a channel 14 will thus be formed within the welding seam 8. In order that this channel is not to be closed when the bag is closed from the top at welding seam 2, a small piece of cellophane is placed which does not participate in the welding in the upper part of the channel 14, but which remains in the opening as a permanent part of the bag construction with the upper edge part 7 protruding slightly up from the top edge of the bag. This projection 7 contributes effectively to facilitating the introduction of the drinking straw into the bag, as the straw is guided slightly at an angle as shown by the arrow p in fig. 2, until it hits the side of the cellophane strip 7, thereby providing guidance into the channel 14, which when the bag is filled (see figures 2 and 3) will be held compressed by the liquid in the bag, as indicated by the two arrows in fig . 2. This compression will effectively close the channel 14, so that no liquid can be brought out of the bag before a tube or the like is introduced into the channel 14.

In order to further facilitate the introduction of the pipe into the channel 14, this can advantageously be arranged with an obliquely cut off end part.

The bag 1 is provided along one side edge with a longitudinal weld 4, so that a narrow space 9 appears in the full length of the bag. A drinking straw 10 is then placed inside this space 9. The straw 10 will thus be hermetically enclosed in the space 9 when the bag is closed at both ends, and can thus be kept completely sterile.

When the bag is to be used, the corner 12 of the compartment 9 is torn off using the weakening line 11 and the straw 10 is taken out. In the example shown according to fig. 1, one end of the straw 13 is obliquely cut off. This end is then guided in the direction shown by the arrow p in fig. 2 towards the channel 14, and is pressed into the interior of the bag 1, whereupon its liquid contents can be emptied or sucked up through

røret 10. tube 10.
