Foldet dipol.
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en foldet dipol.
Det er kjent at en kan tilføre en foldet
dipol energi gjennom en koaksialkabel og oppnå balansering uten anvendelse av «ba-lun», såfremt kabelen føres gjennom dipolens ene halvdel.
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår
en foldet dipol som mates gjennom en koaksialkabel innført i det nøytrale punkt i dipolens lukkede gren. Det særegne ved oppfinnelsen er at dipolens åpne og lukkede gren på midten er innstøpt i en isolerende masse, f. eks. polyester eller epoksyharpiks, som også omslutter innføringen av koaksialkabelen.
Dette støpestykket gir konstruksjonen
en meget god mekanisk stivhet og virker korrosjonsbeskyttende, idet massen kleber til metallet og presser mot kabelens ytter-kappe slik at fuktighet effektivt hindres i å trenge inn i kabelen såvel ved matepunkt som innføringspunkt. Ved tidligere kjente utførelser er ofte kabel og matepunkt ut-satt for korrosjon og mekanisk beskadigelse. På grunn av at «balunen» er sløyfet og koaksialkabelen er ført gjennom dipolens en halvdel, oppnås vesentlige fordeler ved innstøpingen og en meget enkel konstruk-sjon tilveiebringes.
Ifølge et annet særtrekk ved oppfinnelsen er det på dipolens lukkede gren, innstøpt i massen, to metalliske klosser som tjener som feste ved montering.
Tilstrekkelig mekanisk styrke ved festet kan oppnås ved armering av støpe-massen f. eks. med glassfiber, uten at festeklosser benyttes.
Oppfinnelsen vil klart fremgå av den
følgende detaljerte beskrivelse i forbindelse med tegningen som viser en foretrukket utførelsesform.
Den foldede dipol har en lukket gren 1 og en åpen gren 2. Dipolens matepunkt 3 tilføres energi gjennom en koaksialkabel 4 som er ført gjennom venstre halvdel av den ufoldede dipol og føres ut gjennom det nøytrale punkt 5 i den lukkede gren i di-polen. Koaksialkabelens ytre leder er til-koblet dipolens ene halvdel ved et punkt 6 og koaksialkabelens indre leder er tilkob-let dipolens andre halvdel i et punkt 7. Den foldede dipol består av et bøyet rør, fortrinsvis av kobber eller aluminium. To festeklosser 8 og 9 er festet til røret, f. eks. ved sveisning eller lodding. Disse festeklosser, dipolens matepunkt og det nøytrale punkt og et stykke av koaksialkabelen er innstøpt i en støpemasse 10. På grunn av gode mekaniske og elektriske egenskaper, anses en polyester eller en epoksyharpiks, f. eks. Araldit, for å være en fordelaktig støpemasse.
Av tegningen fremgår det at en slik innstøping gir god mekanisk stivhet og god beskyttelse mot korrosjon.

Claims (3)

1. Foldet dipol som mates gjennom en koaksialkabel innført i det nøytrale punkt i dipolens lukkede gren, karakterisert ved at dipolens åpne og lukkede gren omkring mate- og innføringspunktet er innstøpt i én isolerende masse bestående av f. eks. en polyester eller en epoksyharpiks.
2. Foldet dipol ifølge påstand 1, karak-terisert ved at innstøpte metalliske festeklosser på dipolens lukkede gren tjener som overgang til dipolens bærende konstruk-sjon.
3. Foldet dipol ifølge påstand 1, karakterisert ved at støpemassen er armert f. eks. med glassfiber.
