Abstract

The mowing machine has a number of contra-rotating mowing rotors with knives, above which is a frame beam. On this beam is an arm on a pivot axis running in the machine travel direction, and which can be coupled to the tractor hauling the machine. A drive is provided for the rakes from the side of the machine. Tee frame arm (44) engages with the beam (5) at the centre of the latter. The drive to the machine from the tractor can take place along the arms, a transmission mechanism being provided at their hinge points.
