Abstract

The tackle secures loads to a lifting device such as a crane, being partic. for freight containers. A frame for attachment to the load has two or more slings suspending it from an attachment secured in turn to the crane hook etc. An angle-adjusting device is situated between the attachment and the frame. The adjusting device (23) is secured to the attachment (18) by a component (22) on the side of the latter towards the frame (1). The component can be so designed as to allow pivoting movement between attachment and device about two axes at right angles to each other.
