Abstract

The adaptor (1) is for use on a calibrated bottle (2) when recharging a distribution vessel (3) contg. e.g. liquid soap, and has two tubular spigots (5, 11) projecting axially from the opposite faces of a manipulation wheel disc (13). The wheel (13) may be star-shaped and has a peripheral stiffening flange (14), permits relative rotation of the bottle (2), and is used to manipulate the adaptor (1) independently of the bottle (2). The larger spigot (5) fits over the bottle (2) neck to make a spring-clip sealed connection, and the smaller spigot (11) is threaded to then screw into the neck of the distributor (3). The wheel disc (13) may inc. a central diaphragm (4) which is defined by a circular necked deformation of the disc material.
