Abstract

The large greenhouse construction comprises a number of opposed positioned vertical panels, between which an arched roof is suspended made from light permeable foil. The side wall panels are fitted with suction ventilators and associated operating mechanisms to control ventilation. Vertical, ground anchored support columns are bridged by transverse reinforcing beams, and the roof configuration includes longitudinal runs of rain water guttering, which also serve as interconnection for the roof and wall covering, the roof and wall light permeable panels are interconnected with a double fold arrangement to increase rigidity.
