Abstract

Vibrating sieve comprising at least two series connected sieves, the successive sieves each having a smaller mesh (5) width. The sieves (3) are placed one above the other, and between two adjacent sieves a catching device (17) is fitted, which is connected to one of the sieves. This catching device feeds the matter falling through the sieve above to the side of the lower sieve lying opposite the outlet side of lower sieve's application area. Each sieve (3) is separately activated by a pneumatically operated vibrator (6), and enclose an angle with the horizontal which is adjustable. They are connected to their frame (7) by means of plate springs (10).
