Abstract

A waste collection receptacle (20) for fitting onto existing kitchen sinks or incorporation in new designs, simplifies fabrication by using the overflow as its drain outlet, the receptacle (20) being mounted above the overflow (18) and connected (22) to it. The waste collection receptacle can rotate about its vertical drainage outlet pipe (22). A discharge pipe (36) connected to the rear of the overflow aperture supports an anchorage (12) for fixing the drain pipe (22), using an elbow (28) and screw (30). The elbow pipe (28) covers the overflow aperture (18) entirely whilst incorporating slots (48) to maintain the overflow facility.
