Abstract

The machine removes sand etc., used as blasting material for cleaning components and which has become deposited on them. The components travel along a track above which there are two or more brush heads rotating alongside each other. The angle of the brush axes is adjustable in relation to the track surface, and the two heads can be adjusted independently, typically through angles between 0 and 45 deg. The axis height can also be adjustable. Each head can be mounted on an arm slewing parallel to the track by means of a trunnion, the arm also carrying the brush drive.
