Abstract

The coupling arrangement connects two systems of caged ball races in such a manner that axial displacement of the two systems is acceptable. The first rotating member (1) is in the form of a tube (1) which with the help of a cotter pin (2), is connected with an axle (3). The tube has surfaces which form the inner race of a ball bearing (19) with a flexible lever arm arrangement connecting it with an external flange which is in bolted attachment to the housing for the bearing. A cut-out section (22) incorporates a spring loading member (21) to apply a spring pressure to retain the bearing.
