Abstract

One end of each rod is connected near the upper side of one side member and the other end near the underside of the other side member, the connections being pivotable. The removable ties are fitted between the side member near the underside of the rack. There may be two rods connecting the side members at each end of the rack. The coupling pivots for the rods near the end of a side member may be staggered relative to one another such that the two rods near one end of the rack extend parallel in close proximity. The ends of the side members may be U-shaped in cross-sections, open at the bottom and provided with lifting eyes at the top.
