Abstract

The bulb unit is part of a lamp for illuminating the workplace during a sand blasting operation. The front face is formed by an air-tight front pane of glass which is easily removable. The frame in the closed position is retained by a spring clip. Within the lamp housing are two contact springs which retain the bulb, one end forming a contact integrally connected with the outer frame of the lamp, and the other to a live wire terminal which has a wire passing through a rear socket connector to a supply cable. The lamp may be used for steady illumination or for signalling purposes.
