Abstract

Vessel comprises a series of cargo compartments each having a rigid external wall within which is an expandable container for the liq cargo, and means for the loading and discharge of the cargo to or from these containers as well as means for controlling the buoyancy of the vessel. Specif. the space within the outer wall of a cargo compartment can be filled, at least partly, with ballast.
