Abstract

A component transfer device (I 0) transfers an electronic component (W) between a first member (Al) and a second member (Bl) to the second member (Bl) by moving, in parallel to an imaginary straight line (L), at least one of a first member (Al) and a second member (BI) that are disposed in a manner of facing each other so at to bring the first member (AI) and the second member (BI) close to each other. The component transfer device (I 0) includes an imaging unit (19) and an optical path adjusting unit (20). The imaging unit (19) captures a first image by imaging the first member (AI) or the second member (BI) from a facing position in a direction parallel to the imaginary straight line (L) in a state in which the first member (Al) and the second member (Bl) are disposed in a manner of not facing each other, and captures a second image by imaging, in a direction orthogonal to the imaginary straight line (L), both the first member (Al) and the second member (BI) that are disposed in a manner of facing each other. The optical path adjusting unit (20) is provided on an optical path from an object to be imaged in each of the first and second images to the imaging unit (19), and causes the imaging unit (19) to capture the first and second images by one or both of reflection and refraction of light.
