Abstract
A copper alloy seamless tube used as a heat exchanger tube is obtained by working a copper alloy, the copper alloy including Sn, 0.01 to 0.08 mass% of Zr, and 0.004 to 0.04 mass% of P, with the balance being Cu and unavoidable impurities, the copper alloy satisfying the expression (1): 0.4 ?SA+2B ?S0.85 (where, A is the Sn content (mass%), and Bis the Zr content (mass%)) in terms of Sn content and Zn content, and the copper alloy seamless tube satisfying the expression (2): p2-pl2 ?0.3 (%1ACS) (where, p 1 is the electrical conductivity (%1ACS) measured after subjecting the copper alloy to a solution treatment, and p2 is the electrical conductivity (%1ACS) measured after subjecting the copper alloy to an aging treatment) in terms of electrical conductivity. The copper alloy seamless tube exhibits high strength, shows only a small decrease in strength due to brazing, exhibits high creep deformation resistance, and suppresses intermediate temperature embrittlement.
