Abstract

An aluminum alloy foil contains Si: 0.1 mass% or more and0.6 mass% or less; Fe: 0.2 mass% or more and 1.5 mass% or less; and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities as chemical components. The sum of Si content and Fe content is 0.48 mass% or more. The aluminum alloy foil has a foil thickness of 20 ?m or less, a solid solution amount of Si of 700 mass ppm or more and a solid solution amount of Fe of 150 mass ppm or more, a tensile strength of 220 MPa or more, and a specific resistance of 0.45 ?.(2-cm or more and 0.7 ?.Q?cm or less measured in liquid nitrogen.
