Abstract
PROVIDED IS AN ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CAPABLE OF REFLECTING AN INTENSION OF A USER AND DETERMINING AN APPARATUS OF WHICH AN OPERATION STATE IS TO BE CONTROLLED AMONG ENERGY CONSUMPTION APPARATUSES USED IN A BUILDING WHEN A REDUCTION REQUEST FOR REDUCING AN ENERGY CONSUMPTION AMOUNT IN THE BUILDING IS RECEIVED FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INCLUDES A HOME SERVER 10 CONFIGURED TO MANAGE A POWER CONSUMPTION AMOUNT IN A HOUSE H EQUIPPED WITH A PLURALITY OF POWER CONSUMPTION APPARATUSES AND A CEMS SERVER 40 CONFIGURED TO TRANSMIT A REDUCTION REQUEST FOR REDUCING THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION AMOUNT IN THE HOUSE H TO THE HOME SERVER 10. WHEN A RECEPTION UNIT 101 OF THE HOME SERVER 10 RECEIVES THE REDUCTION REQUEST FROM THE CEMS SEVER 40, AN APPARATUS CONTROL UNIT 102 READS INFORMATION INDICATING A DESIGNATED APPARATUS DESIGNATED AS A CONTROL TARGET APPARATUS AMONG THE PLURALITY OF POWER CONSUMPTION APPARATUS BY THE USER FROM THE STORAGE UNIT 104, SPECIFIES THE DESIGNATED APPARATUS BASED ON THE INFORMATION, AND CONTROLS THE OPERATION STATE OF THE SPECIFIED DESIGNATED APPARATUS.
