THE SEAWATER ELECTROLYSIS DEVICE IS PROVIDED WITH AN ELECTRODE (30) WHICH INCLUDES AN ANODE (A) WHICH IS MADE OF TITANIUM COATED WITH AN IRIDIUM OXIDE-CONTAINING COATING MATERIAL AND A CATHODE (C), AN ELECTROLYSIS VESSEL MAIN BODY (20) WHICH HOUSES THE ANODE (A) AND THE CATHODE (C), AND A POWER SUPPLY UNIT (40) WHICH PASSES ELECTRIC CURRENT BETWEEN THE ANODE (A) AND THE CATHODE (C) IN SUCH A MANNER THAT AN ELECTRIC CURRENT DENSITY ON THE SURFACE OF THE ANODE (A) AND THAT OF THE CATHODE (C) IS 20A/DM2 OR MORE, WHEREIN THE SEAWATER ELECTROLYSIS DEVICE ELECTROLYZES SEAWATER IN THE ELECTROLYSIS VESSEL MAIN BODY (20).
