Abstract

THE INVENTION REFERS TO A PROCESS FOR DYING MOIST MATERIAL, ESPECIALLY WOOD FIBRES, IN WHICH THE MOIST MATERIAL IS CONVEYED PNEUMATICALLY THROUGH A DRYING LINE BY A DRYING GAS, THE DRIED MATERIALS SUBSEQUENTLY BEING SEPARATED FROM THE EXHAUST DRYING GAS. THE PLANT IS MAINLY CHARACTERISED BY THE QUANTITY OF DRYING GAS BEING CONTROLLED IN RELATION THE AMOUNT OF MOIST MATERIAL, ESPECIALLY THE AMOUNT OF WOOD FIBRES, AND/OR THE FINAL MOISTURE CONTENT OF THE DRIED MATERIAL, ESPECIALLY WOOD FIBRES.THE INVENTION ALSO REFERS TO A PLANT FOR IMPLEMENTING THE PROCESS, CHARACTERISED BY THE CONVEYING UNIT, E.G A FAN, FOR THE DRYING GAS HAVE AN ADJUSTABLE DRIVE.(FIG. 3)
