The method relates to the pharmaceutical industry, in particular to the disposal of mycelial waste from the antibiotic industry. The invention is the development of a new method of drying mycelial waste. The method consists in the fact that the pasty mass of mycelial wastes is successively directed to three conveyors moving in the opposite one relative to the other direction into a closed drying chamber, while the air heated to 70 - 90 ° C is fed into the chamber, followed by suction through 3 - 5 channels, moreover, the air suction is carried out so that the temperature in the chamber varies sequentially in the vertical zones of air suction in the intervals of 40 - 50 ° C, 70 - 80 ° C, 40 - 50 ° C. A distinctive feature of the proposed method of drying is the temperature regime - a relatively low temperature and its repeated change during the drying process. The method allows to obtain a dry residue with a moisture content of 4 - 6%. The obtained dry mycelium can be deposited or sent to animal farms for feeding fur-bearing animals.
