PROCESS FOR THE CATALYTIC PREPARATION OF HYDROCARBONS CONTAINING AT LEAST TWO CARBON ATOMS PER MOLECULE FROM A GAS MIXTURE COMPRISING HYDROGEN AND CARBON MONOXIDE, WHICH COMPROSES PASSING THE GAS MIXTURE THROUGH A REACTION ZONE CONTAINING CATALYST PARTICLES, WHILE REMOVING HEAT FROM THE REACTION ZONE BY INDIRECT HEAT EXCHANGE WITH A COOLING MEDIUM WHICH FLOWS VIA ONE OR MORE HELICAL PATTERNS, EACH PATTERN CONTAINING ONE OR MORE HELICES.
