A DNA FRAGMENT WHICH CAN CODE FOR HBSAG, DERIVED FROM DANE PARTICLE DNA, S FUSED TO THE REGULATORY REGION OF THE YEAST ARG3 GENE AND CLONED IN A YEAST VECTOR. THE RECOMBINANT VECTOR IS USED TO TRANSFORM COMPETENT YEAST CELLS WHEREIN THE HBSAG GENE IS EXPRESSED.
