Abstract

The invention relates to a fastening device for automobile accessories, in particular headlights, to be inserted into an aperture in the bodywork or through the aperture featured by various bodywork elements. The inventive device comprises at least one support and at least one fastening device enabling the support to be secured to the automobile accessory, while said support (4) can be inserted together with the accessory into said aperture (3). The support (4) or at least part thereof (4) practically surrounds the accessory (1), and the aperture (3) edge (9) can be maintained on the accessory by securing the support (4) by means of said fastening device (6, 23), which is somehow clamped between the support and the accessory. The suggested solution allows for accessories, especially headlights, to be secured in the apertures provided in the bodywork elements, without it being necessary to bore or to use fixing means or similar equipment.

Description

FIXING DEVICE FOR CAR ACCESSORIES The invention relates to a fastening device for an automobile accessory, especially for a car headlight, in an opening formed in a body part or in several body parts, where the accessory The automobile protrudes from the edge of the opening, at least partially, with at least one support part and at least one fixing means with which the support part can be fixed on the vehicle accessory. In the case of fastening devices known to date for vehicle accessories arranged in a body opening, in general, openings, slots or attachments to fix the accessory must be considered in the edge area of the body opening. of vehicle. In the case of manufacturing inaccuracy of the body part or of the vehicle accessory, the mounting of the vehicle accessory on the body part can be difficult. German patent DE 42 42 439 Cl presents a fastening device, especially for headlights, preferably for vehicle headlights with at least one support part that rests on a threaded part of a post that can be fixed against a support , which has at least one insertion opening through which the threaded part protrudes and in which the support part is already fastened before mounting on the threaded part with a fixing and holding part, which during assembly is held in relation to the threaded part of the support part against the support. The support part is fastened on the post in such a way that during introduction into the insertion hole it is inclined on the pin in such a way that it passes through the insertion opening with additional pressure. In the case of such a fixing device, however, several support parts must be provided for fixing, for example, a headlight, since the support part rests only on a part of its circumference on the support. The arrangement of several support parts is especially difficult when it comes to fixing small vehicle accessories since in this case also the fixing parts are of small dimensions. Attaching a vehicle accessory with only one support part is not possible with such a fixing device. The object of the present invention is a fixing device presented in the introduction in such a way that a simple, quick and safe assembly can also be carried out even in the case of small vehicle accessories. The object of the present invention is achieved through the features of claim 1. In the subclaims additional advantageous embodiments are presented. In accordance with the present invention, it is proposed that the support part of the vehicle attachment virtually surrounds the edge of the opening by fixing the support part with the support means on the vehicle accessory. Furthermore, it is proposed that the support part can penetrate into the hole with the vehicle accessory and that the support part or at least part of the support part can be compressed during the penetration and after the introduction through the broadening from the edge of the hole and through the fixing of the support part with the fixing means on the vehicle part, the edge of the opening between the support part and the vehicle accessory can be held. The fastening means can, for example, be a threaded part that can have rotation in a female part or a female part and thus provide a continuous movement between the support part and the vehicle accessory which is finally necessary for the creation of the necessary pressure force on the edge of the hole between the support part and the vehicle accessory. The threaded part can be firmly connected with either the support part or the vehicle accessory, so that the existence of a corresponding internal thread in the other part is conveniently contemplated. It is also proposed that a hole be found in the support part where the threaded part can penetrate. Through the fastening part it is possible that by rotating the threaded part, for example, about 2 to 3 filleting steps in relation to the vehicle accessory, the support part can be fixed securely on the vehicle accessory. The threaded part can, for example, be a fixing screw which can penetrate into the hole of the support part and which can be screwed into the vehicle accessory. The head of the screw protrudes from the hole in the support part and serves to screw the threaded part of the fixing or holding part. The threaded part can also be a threaded pin protruding through the opening and at whose free end a nut can be screwed. The nut part protrudes conveniently from the hole in the support part and functions as a fixing or holding part. A further advantage of the present invention is that the support part may have supporting edges. The support part is supported in this way during the first introduction into the hole of the body part and takes a predefined position. The subsequent fixation is carried out by the fixing means. In this way the assembly is facilitated since the possibility of displacement of the automobile accessory in relation to the supporting part of the body part is limited. The support part may have, for example, grooves extending preferably up to the edge facing the body part of the support part. With the grooves an easy possibility of compressing the support part at the moment of penetration into the body hole is achieved. "This is especially advantageous insofar as the support part on one side is constructed in a compressible manner and on the other hand Furthermore, it is proposed that the vehicle accessory has a free space or several free spaces in which the support part or a part of the vehicle has a minimum clearance in the direction of the pressure force required to produce the required pressure force. part of the same can be accommodated during the penetration into the hole The external contour of the vehicle accessory in the area of the opening of the body part can therefore be accommodated in the hole, so that a seat with the minimum clearance for the headlight The support part or part of said support part is then housed in the free space during the insertion of the accessory vehicle in the hole. In this way it is possible that the vehicle accessory with the support part can be fixed without fixing the support part in the hole of the body part. The free space can also be configured in such a way that it can be accessible in all its extension and that the vehicle accessory has a retainer in the area of the opening. As economic material, the use of plastic, especially polyamide, preferably PA 66 is proposed. It is further proposed that a spring be placed between the support part and the vehicle accessory. Through this spring the support part will be away from the vehicle accessory and maintained in a position provided when entering the hole of the body part. This intended position is preferably chosen in such a way that the support part can be accommodated in the free space of the vehicle accessory by compression. The vehicle accessory can also have a pin on the side towards the support part, said pin protruding through an opening of the support part, said pin protruding through an opening of the support part and at its free end it has a spigot head protruding at least partially from the opening. The support part is securely attached to the vehicle accessory through said spigot head. A rotation of the threaded part, from one to two filleting steps to prevent the support part from being dislodged is no longer necessary. A sealing medium can be placed between the vehicle accessory and the edge of the opening, so that the penetration of dust and moisture is avoided. In this case it is convenient that the part of the support substantially surrounds the vehicle accessory and can apply an essentially constant pressing force by fixing the support part. An explanation of the present invention in relation to an exemplary embodiment will be presented below. The drawings show the following: Figure 1 is a fixing device for a vehicle headlight; Figure 2 is a fixing device for a vehicle headlight with a support part with grooves; Figure 3 is a fixing device for a vehicle headlight with a spring placed between the vehicle headlight and the support part; Figure 4 is a fixing device for a vehicle headlight at the moment of insertion of the vehicle headlight into a body opening; Figure 5 is a fixing device for a vehicle headlight with a support part in the inserted position; Figure 6 is a fixing device with a sealing means arranged between the vehicle headlight and the vehicle accessory. Figure 1 shows a fixing device for a vehicle accessory 1, for example a vehicle headlight. The fixing device can, however, be another part of the vehicle. The vehicle headlight 1 is fixed through the support parts 4 and 17 and the threaded parts 6 and 23, represented here as a fixing screw, in the body hole 3 of the body part 2. The body headlight 1 presents a frame 5 and a cover glass 7. The cover glass 7 protrudes from the edge 9 of the body opening 3 on the light exit side with the surface 8. On the side towards the exit side of the light from the frame 5 are the support parts 4 and 17. In the support parts 4 and 17 there are holes 11 and 24, in which the fixing screws 6 and 23 can penetrate. The support parts 4 and 17 are fixed on the frame 5 through the penetration of the fixing screws 6 and 23 and its rotation * 1 or 2 filleting steps in the threaded holes 12 and 25. In the frame 5 there is a headlamp or a backlight 13, whose power supply is carried out through a division of the support parts 4 and 17. The power supply can also be provided in another manner such that only a support part 4, 17 is provided for fixing the vehicle headlight 1. By screwing in the fastening screws 6 and 23 the edge 9 of the body part 2 is clamped between the ends 4a and 17a of the support parts 4 and 17 and the closure cap 7. In figure 6 it is observed that, between the surface 8 and the edge 9 , a sealing means 30 is found so that the penetration of moisture is prevented. The support parts 4 and 17 surround the vehicle accessory 1 in essentially the same manner so that an essentially equal pressing force is applied on the sealing means 30 in such a way that a good seal is achieved. Furthermore, by means of an essentially constant pressure force, the vehicle accessory 1 is fixed in the opening 3 of the body part 1 centrally on the upper surface of the body part 2. Conveniently, the existence of the vehicle part 1 can be seen. of a clearance 40 between the vehicle accessory 1 and the support parts 4 and 17; said clearance may have a width of at least the thickness of the body part 2 plus a supplement for the sealing means 30, whereby it is possible to apply a sufficient pressing force on the edge 9 of the opening 3. In the figure 2 shows a section of a frame 5 with the support part 17 and the fixing screw 6 when it is inserted in the body hole 3. The fixing screw 6 is screwed on about one or two filleting steps in the threaded hole 12 in such a way that the support part 17 can be reliably held between the head of the fixing screw 6 and the vehicle headlight. The head of the fixing screw 6 functions here as a fixing part and holds the support part 17. However, it is also possible to contemplate an embodiment in which a threaded part fixed or inserted into the frame 5, at the free end of which protrudes from the support part 17 can be fitted with a nut. In this case the nut would work as a fixing and holding means through which the support part 17 is fastened. The fixation of the vehicle headlight 1 would be achieved during the rotation of the nut in relation to the threaded part. Between the support part 17 and the frame 5 is a spring 26. Through the spring 26 the support part 17 is remote from the vehicle headlight 1 in such a way that the end 17 a of the support part 17 is housed in the free space 18 of the frame 5 by compression. After the penetration of the support part 17 into the body hole 3, the support part 17 widens due to the retro-deformation effect and grabs the edge of the body part 2 with the supporting edge 17b. The frame 5 can thus be adapted in the area of the body opening 3 in its dimension to the contour of the body opening 3, in such a way that a safe seat is achieved with the minimum possible clearance of the frame 5 in the body opening 3. The support part 17 has at its end 17a a chamfer 15, which facilitates the disassembly of the headlight. vehicle 1 through compression and introduction of the end 17a of the support part 17. Figure 3 shows a vehicle headlight cut 1 in the fixed state. The edge of the body part 2 is held by the fixing screw 6 in the threaded hole 12 between the surface 8 of the cover glass 7 and the end 17a of the support part 17. The end 17a of the support part 17 or the entire support part 17 is made of rigid plastic, for example PA 66, in such a way that without significant deformation of the support part 17 in the direction of the pressing force it can be applied on the support part 17 the required pressure force. The frame 5 has a retainer 16 in the area of the body opening 3 and is thus coupled with no play to the contour of the body opening 3. In FIG. 4, support parts 4 and 17 are shown where between the ends 4a and 17a of the support parts 4 and 17 are slots 14. Through the slots 14, ease of compression of the ends 4a and 17a of the support part 4 and the support part 17 in the radial direction is provided. In Figure 5 an alternative embodiment is shown, to securely hold the support part 17 on the vehicle headlight 1. On the side 21 of the frame 5, opposite the support parts 4 and 17, there is a spike that it protrudes through an opening 22 of the support part 17 and whose free end has a shank head 20 with a larger diameter than the opening 22. The support part 17 is fixed on the frame 5 securely through the shank head 20. In this way it is possible to avoid screwing the fastening screws 6 into the threaded holes 12 one or two filleting steps before assembly to prevent the detachment of the support part 17.
