Abstract

Un accesorio de iluminacion de deportes que tiene mejores caracteristicas de entrega de luz, incluye un tubo de arco desnudo alargado, y una lampara de descarga de alta intensidad dispuesta cerca del apice de un miembro reflector parabolicamente configurado. El reflector se construye de un material no metalico, y mediante la orientacion y posicionamiento de la lampara adentro del reflector, se genera un patron de luz de una forma esencialmente ovalada. Se dispone una cubierta transmisora de luz sobre el extremo abierto del reflector. Cuando se proyecta sobre la superficie de juego de un campo deportivo, el patron de luz de forma ovalada se traduce en un patron de una forma esencialmente circular que permite tener un traslape mas uniforme y eficiente de las multiples salidas de luz al nivel del campo de juego. Se pueden disponer persianas adentro del reflector para redirigir adicionalmente cualquier salida de luz de angulo alto hacia un angulo mas bajo que sea mas util al nivel de la superficie de juego.
