Abstract
La presente invencion es un cable de telecomunicaciones que comprende una pluralidad de conductores electricos; estando rodeado cada conductor por una capa de aislamiento que comprende un polimero de propileno acoplado. Se prefiere que el polimero de propileno sea un polimero de propileno de impacto modificado; mas preferible, un polimero de propileno de impacto. Las ventajas primarias de la composicion de aislamiento se obtienen bajo condiciones de extrusion a alta velocidad para aplicacion de aislamiento de paredes delgadas, que incluye las ventajas de una superficie de aislamiento lisa y buena uniformidad dimensional y presiones de cabeza y dado de extrusion relativamente bajas.
