Abstract

En la presente invencion se proporciona un cable electrico. El cable incluye un conductor electrico, una primer chaqueta de aislamiento dispuesta adyacente al conductor electrico y que tiene una primer constante dielectrica relativa, en donde la primer chaqueta de aislamiento se prepara a partir de una mezcla de un polimero seleccionado del grupo que consiste de polimero de poliariletereter cetona, polimero de sulfato de polifenileno, polieter cetona, polimeros de anhidrido maleico modificado, polimeros SPR Parmax(r), y cualquier mezcla de los mismos, y un aditivo fluoropolimero. Una segunda chaqueta de aislamiento dispuesta adyacente a la primer chaqueta de aislamiento y que tiene un segunda constante dielectrica relativa que es menor que la primer constante dielectrica relativa, y en donde la chaqueta de aislamiento esta mecanicamente unida a la segunda chaqueta de aislamiento.
