Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema para medir flujo que ofrece por lo menos una medicion compensada de la velocidad de flujo masico o una medicion compensada de la densidad. El sistema medidor de flujo consiste en un medidor dela fraccion del volumen de gas en combinacion con un medidor de Coriolis. El medidor GVF mide las presiones acusticas que se propagan a traves de los fluidos para medir la velocidad del sonido (mez que se propaga a traves del fluido para calcular por lo menos la fraccion del volumen del gas del fluido y/o la frecuencia natural reducida. Para determinar una densidad aumentada para el medidor de Coriolis, se proporciona a una unidad de procesamiento la fraccion del volumen de gas calculada y/o la frecuencia reducida. La densidad aumentada se determina utilizando los modelos de calibracion de la densidad obtenidos en forma analitica o en forma empirica (o formulas obtenidas de estos), la cual esta en funcion de la frecuencia natural medida y por lo menos uno de los siguientes: la GVF determinada, la frecuencia reducida o la velocidad del sonido, o cualquier combinacion de estos. El medidor de la fraccion del volumen de gas (GVF) puede consistir en un dispositivo sensor que tenga una pluralidad de sensores basados en esfuerzos, o de presion, espaciados axialmente a lo largo de la tuberia para medir la presion acustica que se propaga a traves del flujo.
