Abstract

La presente invencion provee un ensamble y un metodo de control de la energia torsional para eliminar la sacudida y/o las oscilaciones de la broca de perforacion, que comprenden oscilaciones axiales y/o rotacionales. En una modalidad preferida el ensamble permite el desfasaje entre una porcion superior de la sarta de perforacion y una pocion inferior de una sarta de perforacion. El ensamble de control rotacional puede ser instalado en cualquier posicion deseada en la sarta de perforacion. Tambien se podria utilizar el ensamble de control rotacional como un componente de otros mecanismos de perforacion, tales como un motor de perforacion para bajar al fondo del agujero. El control rotacional permite el desfasaje mientras se esta perforando, durante un tiempo seleccionado o una distancia de rotacion seleccionada, u otros criterios, para liberar de esa manera la energia torsional en la sarta de perforacion que, de otra manera, podria producir oscilaciones torsionales de sacudida, daninas, tales como sacudimientos. El ensamble de control rotacional, en una modalidad, puede comprender un embrague de conexion. Desconexion, mediante el cual se transmite sustancialmente por completo, o no se transmite sustancialmente el par de torsion, a traves del ensamble, durante periodos breves.
