Abstract
Se caracteriza porque para calcular las muestras de la potencia de ruido que afecta al sistema, se combinan los errores de amplitud y de incremento de fase obtenidos en el receptor realizando una traslacion de dichos errores (1) y (4) al punto correspondiente del primer anillo (6) de la constelacion como si hubiera sido este el transmitido y sin que sufran ninguna modificacion, para posteriormente calcular el modulo al cuadrado del vector de error (9). Minimiza e iguala la varianza de las muestras obtenidas para los diferentes valores, pares e impares, de bits por portadora que el sistema utilice. Reduce la varianza de la estimacion de la relacion senal a ruido en un sistema de comunicaciones digital multiusuario. Dicha estimacion es necesaria para seleccionar el numero de bits por portadora para adaptarse al canal y como informacion de apoyo en caso de utilizar un receptor con diversidad.
