Abstract

De acuerdo con primer aspecto de la invencion un cargador de bateria y metodo para cargar una bateria incluye un circuito de entrada que recibe una entrada ca que tiene un periodo de T segundos y proporciona una senal cd. Un controlador controla de manera preferible el convertidor para proporcionar correccion de factor de energia. Un capacitor de barra colectora esta conectado a traves de la barra colectora cd y tiene una capacitancia de por lo menos (3PT)/(V2) faradios, o una capacitancia para almacenar energia suficiente para mantener la senal de energia de salida disponible a traves de la duracion de una transitoria mecanica. La capacitancia puede ser por lo menos (4PT)/(V2), (5PT)/(V2), o (5.5PT)/(V2). Se pueden proporcionar multiples circuitos de salida , conectados ya sea uno a la vez, o un numero a la vez.
