Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona una composicion antimicrobiana sinergetica, con bajo contenido de formaldehido libre, estable y un metodo para inhibir el desarrollo de, o reducir el numero de microorganismos aplicando la composicion. De preferencia, los constituyentes son demetilol dimetilhidantoina, monometilol demetil-hidantoina, dimetilhidantoina y acido dehidroacetico o sales del mismo. La composicion tiene un contenido de formaldehido libre menor del 0.2% y es benefica para controlar contaminacion microbiologica y fungica en productos de cuidad personal, productos para el hogar y productos y sistemas industriales.
